I have been an accountant working in practice since 2007. I was with my previous employer for just short of 10 years where I completed my training to become a Chartered Certified Accountant. In 2018 I decided it was time for a change and dipped my toe in to the world of self employment and haven’t looked back.

I am passionate that any agencies and contractors we deal with receive a high level of customer service. My aim is to change the conception of what an Umbrella Company is and that it really is a great service to use for any temporary contractor you engage with.

I have a daughter, Macie, who occupies my hours outside of work, but when I do get a chance I never turn down a cheeky Nando’s.

This is my first job since leaving school and I am so happy with this career path that I have taken. I enjoy coming in to the office working alongside my colleagues who feel like family.

In my spare time, if I am not caring for my 2 cats, I enjoy shopping for shoes whilst listening to Elton John or anything from the 80’s.

I moved to Manchester from the Isle of Man a few years ago now. At Quay Umbrella I am passionate about helping the contractors understand how their pay is worked out via a compliant Umbrella Company.

When I am not in work my son takes up most of my time, but when I do get 5 minutes to myself I enjoy having a nice Gin ‘chin chin’.

I am based in Lincoln and work from the office 1-2 days per week. I absolutely love my job speaking to new agencies and helping solve their challenges in the industry. My main priority is ensuring that all parties we deal with receive the best service possible, and if they are unsure of anything, to help educate. It is so important for all parties in the supply chain to understand how an Umbrella Company operates.

When I am not in work you will catch me watching the rugby or making fascinators for weddings.
